Portable Radio LW, MW, 5 SW USSR. Radio is nice and clean.

Radio is in good exterior condition for it's years with some scratches, traces of used - see all photos carefully.

The light in the dial is working. Antenna is original.

Radio has been well taken care of. Radio plays well on all bands.

Radio tested with six batteries - the performance is good.


The VEF-202 portable radio receiver from 1971 was produced by the Riga VEF Electrotechnical Plant. The VEF-202 radio receiver is based on the VEF-201 serial model and differs from it only in other external design and small changes in the electrical circuit. Ranges of received frequencies: LW - 150 ... 408 kHz, MW - 525..1605 kHz, subbands: SWI - 3.95 ... 5.7 MHz, SWII - 5.85 ... 6.3 MHz, SWIII - 7.0 ... 7.4 MHz, SWIV - 9.5..9.775 MHz, SWV - 11.7 ... 12.1 MHz. Sensitivity to the deals magnetic antenna in the ranges CB - 1000, LW - 2000 μV / m. The sensitivity in KB subbands with a telescopic antenna is 70 μV. Detection selectivity of ± 10 kHz, not worse than 34 dB. The reproduced frequency band when working on the internal loudspeaker 1GD-4A is 200 ... 4000 Hz. The maximum output power of the receiver is 250 mW. Powered by 6 elements 373 Saturn. Duration of work from a set of new elements is about 200 hours. Dimensions of the radio receiver 305х240х105 mm.
