Antique Late Victorian period circa 1880's Lovely Quality Solid Silver Stick pin featuring a terminal fashioned afterThe North Star, or the Bethlehem Star set with pebble agate.
In very good condition the stick pin terminal is pave set with carved Moss agate finished with chased details.
The reverse to the stick pin terminal features the pin which is secured to a rbead type mount to the setting, indicative of quality rather than just being hot soldered in place as with other stick pins and conversions of jewellery of the period.
The terminal measures 2.1 cm x 1.3 cm, total length of the stick pin including stem is 6.8 cm.
The item is without makers marks but has been tested for silver, nice, aged patina but could be cleaned to a high shine if desired, a handsome piece, ready to be worn.
