William McKinley of Ohio was elected 25th President of the US in 1896. This 1896 Whitehead and Hoag William McKinley button (not reproduction!) is in Fair to Good Condition. Ii is missing the original backpaper, & has a bit of rust on the reverse but no foxing on the face side. See photos! It is a very hard-to-find design! There is a somewhat more common variety that is identical design but a plain white background, whereas this one has deals a baseball with stitches. I have only seen one other like this. A really nice addition to any collection of American political memorabilia. I am willing to entertain reasonable best offers (but please only serious enquiries). Smoke free home.
