CVM or CVM/Romeldale is a North American fine wool breed originating from Rambouillet by deals Romney crosses and since selected for fine wool character. It is more than soft enough for next to the skin wear and fantastic for creating a very lofty yarn. It is one of my favorite wools to work with.
