Product code: 1942 Seeburg deals Model
Seeburg Acetate 78 RPM Turntable pulled from a Truetone console. We believe this turntable to be a Seeburg Model J (based on the 1927 patent and the Truetone Schematic). Works! Serviced to functional state although still needs some work. The cartridge has been rebuilt using Piezoelectric crystal. The towers function and deals accept both 10 and 12-inch acetate. The tonearm functions as does the manual and automatic operation. Has a tonearm mute function in the automatic mode. Missing one of the suspension feet; the other three have both the upper and lower spring. This is fun, turntable. We have listened to old 78's on it - the rebuilt cartridge sounds surprisingly good. The audio cable is original but needs resoldering. The turntable felt completely rotted and removed; covered with a rubber membrane. Please study the photos carefully as they are an important part of this description and feel free to ask questions.
