Winter Dreams in the Great Smoky Mountains Fine deals Art Print from William Britten

Winter Dreams is a horizontal version of my best-selling winter Smoky Mountains image. It's a dreamy, ethereal snow scene that was taken out in the Greenbrier area of the Smokies during a late winter storm. The technique used to capture the image is unusual. The camera was on a tripod, set to a long exposure time of about two seconds. For the first second or so I kept the camera still to lock in the image, but then for the last half second I moved the deals camera upwards. This created a blur effect that adds to the mood of quiet, ethereal silence in the snow. The cardinal was added later from a separate image.

All of my Smoky Mountains Fine Art Prints are hand-printed in my Gatlinburg studio on archival paper with inks rated to be fade-resistant for 75 years.

Prints are shipped in a tube, ready for matting and framing, except for the 8x12 size, which is matted.
