HANDWOVEN KUMIHIMO BRAIDED NECKLACE WITH GLASS BEAD

I made these braids using a variety of colours of acrylic yarn and the Japanese Kumihimo braiding technique. Onto each cord I placed a glass bead in a toning colour, attached to the braid with a bail and ring. I have used nickel-free silver plated jewellery findings for the lobster clasp at the back of the necklace and for the bail.

SIZE - The circumference of the cords is approximately 18" (46cm)
