The boards shown are representative of my work, but do not show the exact board you will receive. If you would like a custom hardwood board, please specify in the comments.
The game boards are planed, jointed and cut to exact dimensions. Each board measures a 14 inch diameter. Then they are hand-routed using a cove router bit and a bowl/tray router bit. The top and bottom edges are routed with a round over bit. They are sanded smooth to 220 grit. The boards are finished with boiled linseed oil and high quality lacquer. The result is a beautiful finish that will last for years.
Each game comes with 32 fancy marbles (1 inch marbles).

What is Marble Solitaire?
Marble solitaire is an old board game for one player. The game board has 33 holes in cross form. 32 marbles are placed on the board with the center hole empty. You remove one marble one after the other by jumping a marble either horizontally or vertically. In the end one marble should remain in the center hole.
The game is called solitaire (Latin solus = alone) because of the only player.
The game solitaire is called jumper, too. The name is not unique.
