I felt like the world needed more cute fat mermaids, deals so I created some!
A lot of mermaids depicted are tropical mermaids. I thought: well, what would non-tropical mermaids look like! And thus this cute pair was created!

This was a #Mermay challenge. Like much of my art, it started off as a vague sketch that I didn't finish for mermay, and then evolved when I wanted to add depth to my paintings with my Daniel Smith and Winsor and Newton watercolor paints.

This listing is for an ORIGINAL drawing. One of a kind. It will be shipped in a plastic sleeve, sandwiched between pieces of cardboard for protection.

While I use mostly archival materials, Please keep this piece out of direct sunlight!
