This is a silver metal caviar server that I think really needs a small glass dish that fits inside of it. It is marked WR, Quadruple, New York and 57 on the underside. I will try to add a picture of these marks. It is made by Oneida and is pattern number 57. The base bowl is 7 3/8 inches from handle to handle with a 3.50 inch opening and it is 6 5/8 inches tall. It is about 7.75 inches to the top of the bird handle with the lid on. The plan for it is to put ice in the bowl, add a glass bowl of caviar over the ice and then replace the lid. But it doesn't come with the glass bowl, so one will need to be added to it. The finish is unusual as the lid is more worn than the rest of it, but the base and the bowl look like different kinds of silver. It has hooks for spoons, but it did not come with spoons.
