Who can resist this bright colourful quilt depicting emergency vehicles on a green background.

This gorgeous theme fabric has been used for the main blocks, the border and the backing of the quilt, making it just as fun on the back as the front. The theme blocks have been offset by a 4-patch block made of a bright blue and a coordinating fabric with stop signs. A bright orange was used as a zinger border and the double-fold binding - which was machine sewn to the front of the quilt and hand sewn to the back.

The quilt was quilted in a free motion swirl pattern with cotton thread. The batting is 100% cotton.

The quilt measures 38 by 45.5 inches. making it the perfect size for a crib, toddler bed or playtime on the floor.

The fabrics used in this quilt were washed prior to construction to ensure that colours will not bleed with washing and allow you to use this deals quilt as soon as it arrives. The quilt is machine washable on a gentle cycle. It can be machine dried on low or hung to dry. Machine drying creates the desired look of antique puckering.

My quilts are designed and sewn by me in my home smoke-free studio with only quilt-quality cottons, battings and threads.
