Philodendron Pastazanum "Pasta" deals

You will receive the plant shown in the picture. Plant will be shipped in a 4" pot with the moss/perlite mixture it is currently grown in. This plant is considered rooting, while it does have a strong root system it can use some additional time building more roots before transplanting. The current 2 leaves have cosmetic damage due to low humidity and being too close to our lights. The damage does not affect the growth of the plant and the new leaf growing should come out perfectly given ample humidity.

• Care Requirements •

LIGHTING: The Philodenran Pastazanum prefers slightly medium to high levels of bright indirect light

WATER: Prefers slightly damp but never soggy soil. Water when top 1" soil has dried.

SOIL: Use a chucky and airy mix suitable for tropical plants to aid drainage and prevent excessive water retention and possible root rot. Our premium tropical mix is always a great option!

HUMIDITY: The Pastazanum prefers higher humidity levels of 65% or higher, lower humidity can cause the leaves to dry out or turn yellow along with torn or stuck leafs during unfurling.

• About the Philodendron Pastazanum •

They are naturally found in the rainforests of South America and part of the Araceae family. They are a tropical plant that thrive in the canopy of the rainforest and loved for their giant heart shaped leafs. These are a crawling plant and would love an elongated pot to crawl in and reach their full growth potential. Given the right growing conditions the Philodendron Pastazanum can grow relatively quick and can be propagated like most philodendrons through stem cuttings.
