Vintage salt box or salt cellar with wood lid found here in Denmark. It's from Horishin potteries and has a beautiful decoration with an orange flower on the the front. It's a lovely addition to a country or farmhouse style kitchen as well as in a modern. It can stand or hang.

You could also use it on a desk as a pen holder or to keep things organized.
