This is a digitally rendered map of South West Texas showing Big Bend deals National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. The map is derived from a 1979 map from the Austin Bureau of Economic Geology. Digital Elevation Data (DEM), obtained from the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission is processed and digitally rendered to create a highly detailed elevation profile (printed on a flat surface - note: these prints are NOT raised relief maps).
