This beautiful live-edge charcuterie board is handcrafted from a single piece of cherry, a fantastic kitchen hardwood capable of fulfilling multiple roles from centerpiece to serving board to cutting board. Rustic and warm-toned, the wood has been carefully finished by hand to an alluring burnished sheen.
Finished with all-natural combination of linseed oil and beeswax, enhancing the natural depth and beauty of the wood and making these boards perfectly food safe. Any larger imperfections in the wood have been filled in with epoxy resin, using colors carefully chosen to either complement the cherry wood or blend in with it.
Note: Before shipping each board is treated with a thin coat of cutting board wax to help protect the wood from damage and drying during transport. Upon arrival simply wipe briskly with a soft cloth until the wood feels dry to the touch, this will remove the wax and leave the wood with a beautiful sheen and ready to use. Your board will come wrapped in a length of white cotton that is ideal for this task.
Each board is approx. 32 inches long, 6 - 7 inches wide due to variances in the live deals edge, and roughly 5/8 inches thick.
