The architecture and courtyards of San Miguel inspired this vintage watercolor scene of an elderly woman wearing a rebozo as she enjoys her morning walk.
This is a plein air painting I did while there when taking Kathleen Carrillo's watercolor workshop.

The original painting sold when I was exhibiting at Towles Court in the 90's. I chose Kathleen's wet on wet technique for a muted landscape with accents of bright colors.
