Antique 1930s Rhinestone Bridal Hair Comb OR Dress Clip 1/PAIR, Art Deco Something Old 1920s deals Head Piece Vintage Wedding Silver Headpiece

Offering One or a PAIR of beautiful lacy authentic antique/vintage 1930s era Art Deco paste rhinestone duette dress/fur clips that can optionally be converted into One-of-a-Kind bridal hair combs (permanently). Starting with the dress clips - Each of the rhodium plated pot metal open work filigree jewels measures 1 1/2 inches (3.7 cm) by 1 1/16 inches (2.7 cm). They are lavishly encrusted with SO Art Deco baguette cut as well as round cut clear sparkly pave set crystal rhinestones. I love the SO 1920s design of these not to mention the sparkle! They look like something right out of Downton Abbey. It's tough to find these original Art Deco clip pairs in this fantastic of a condition and these are phenomenal! Each jewel has a hinged clip on back to clip to a fur, wrap, cape, dress, sweater, etc. They come with a pin back mechanism that the jewels can clip onto when you want to wear them as a single large brooch. If you prefer to wear them in your hair, I can remove the clip back hardware (permanently) and mount them back to back on a comb base as one large comb (3 inches/7.6 cm) wide OR separately on smaller comb bases. (Specify at check-out.) Jewels are in excellent vintage condition with all rhinestones present, accounted for and full of sparkle. The clip backs work perfectly. Though still so full of sparkle, the jewels have mellowed just a tad creating that softer authentic antique feel that can only be achieved with age and can't be replicated by the new vintage "style" pieces. The photos show the dress/fur clips just setting on silver plated comb bases to give you an idea of how they would look as combs though, since the clip hardware will be removed, you won't see it through the openings in the design. If you choose the comb option, they will be mounted at a slight angle to the comb allowing the hair to slip between the comb and brooch holding it securely in place. These were obviously very well cared for treasures that won't disappoint! The pin back hardware is marked "PAT PEND" for patent pending and the clip backs are marked with patent number "180112" which dates to the 1930s. (One photo is showing pairs of celebrities wearing hair comb pairs just to give you an idea of how these could be worn.) The Why settle for vintage "inspired" when you can have the quality of a true period jewels?
