Betty Davis eat your heart out! This midnight Navy sharkskin taffeta dress is a total dream! I'm so sad this doesn't fit me as my hubs has a jacket very similar. If deals rib removal were an option tho....This iconic 50s New Look sillouette with mesh v neckline, 3/4 dolman sleeve, wasp waist and a full skirt with bucket POCKETS! The entire skirt has a taffeta mesh under skirt/crinoline which adds fullness, but there is plenty of room to add another crinoline and go fuller! Both the neckline and pockets are edged in a silk corded trim that forms about a 1" border. There is a left side hidden metal zipper closure.

Can it get any better? Its so well done. There is no makers label but it has a store tag with vintage size "12" marked.
