This vintage The Castle Braid Co. NY Happin antique fairy green paper box dates from 1908.

It is made of cardboard with a green and white embossed paper covering the top lid with a decorative design of a fairy, with holly leaves, a castle and spiral scroll work graphics. This beautiful box is from "The Castle Braid Co. New York" with a "Happin Patent June 16, 1908" paper label on the bottom. The box measures 7 1/4 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep. It is in good condition, with only some minor wear along the bottom paper lid edging (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of ephemeral art!

Inside the box is a beautiful pink ribbon holder for the rose hat pin. All are included in this listing.
