Arrives gift boxed and includes a tiny, resealable bag with an anti-tarnish tab – perfect for storing your studs when not being worn.

Images show the 1.5mm, 20G Right Screw.

OPTIONS
• Choose your head size: 1mm, 1.5mm, or 2mm (Sizes are approximate)

• Choose your stem gauge size: 24G (0.5mm), 20G (0.8mm) or 18G (1mm)

• Choose your stem style: Left screw, Right screw, L-bend

• Choose your stem length: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm (or leave a note to request a custom length)

TIPS FOR CHOOSING YOUR STUD
• These are tiny studs! Please make sure your piercing hole is smaller than your chosen head size, otherwise the stud may slip through the hole. For example, if your piercing hole is 18G (1mm), you'd need to go for the 1.5mm stud or bigger.

• If in doubt about which gauge size to choose, stick to the same size as your current nose jewellery, or go up/down by no more than one size.

• Either screw (Left/Right) can be worn in either nostril, it's just down to personal preference. If in doubt, stick to the direction you're used to wearing. Remember to check the images for clarification on screw direction, as different jewellers classify left and right screws differently!

• The correct stem length will ensure that the jewellery fits snug, but not too tight. The best stem length depends on the thickness of your nostril and the angle of your piercing channel. If in doubt, measure the stem of your existing nose jewellery with a ruler. You may need to go up or down in size if your existing jewellery feels too tight or too loose.

• If you're still unsure about which stud to choose, send us a message and we'll do all we can to assist with finding you the best option.

We can also make this in custom metal options or sizes, including Recycled 14ct and 18ct Gold. Please get in touch for a quote if you'd like an option that deals isn't available to select from the listing.

As with all handmade jewellery, slight differences between individual items are to be expected, and give each piece its own unique beauty. As a 100% handmade piece, these studs are not perfectly round, making each one unique.

Please be advised that we don't use anti-tarnish coatings on nose jewellery, as these substances can cause irritation in some individuals. Tarnishing of 9ct Gold jewellery is normal and will vary depending on the person. Jewellery is best stored in individual sealed bags, and can be polished with a suitable cloth to restore shine. Please get in touch if you'd like further advice on caring for your Gold jewellery.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

1. Our piercing jewellery is suitable for healed piercings only.
Do not attempt to change the jewellery in a new piercing until the piercing has healed, unless instructed to do so by a medical professional. Doing so can result in infection, physical trauma and permanent scarring. The length of time required for piercings to heal can vary depending on the body part and on the individual person. Refer to the information provided by your piercer for the minimum length of time that you should wait before changing your jewellery for the first time. If you are still unsure whether your piercing has healed after this time has passed, consult a trained piercer or medical professional in person. If your new piercing is failing to heal due to ill-fitting jewellery, visit a trained piercer, who will measure you for a custom-fit piece.

2. All piercing jewellery can cause adverse sensitivity issues.
We offer piercing jewellery in Sterling Silver, 9K Gold, 18K Gold and 14K Gold Filled. Whilst these are generally well tolerated by most people, it is possible to develop a sensitivity to any of the metals used within these alloys, even if you have not previously experienced problems with other jewellery. If you have a known sensitivity to any of the metals within these alloys, do not purchase or attempt to wear this jewellery. If you develop adverse symptoms whilst wearing, remove the jewellery. If these symptoms are severe, or do not subside, seek medical attention.

3. Wear the correct size jewellery.
It's important to select a gauge size (i.e. wire thickness) that is suitable for your piercing. If the gauge is too thin, the jewellery may move around, leading to inflammation, trauma and increased risk of infection. If the gauge is too large for your piercing, this may cause soreness and unnecessary stretching of the piercing hole. If you wish to change gauge size, it's advisable to go up or down by no more than one or two sizes at a time, to allow the piercing to adjust.

4. Always wash your hands and the piercing area before changing your jewellery.
To reduce the risk of infection, always ensure that your hands, the piercing area, and the jewellery itself are clean and dry before changing the jewellery. It is advisable to sterilise piercing jewellery each time you change it.

5. Remove and insert piercing jewellery with great care.
Body piercings are extremely sensitive, and care should be taken when removing or inserting jewellery. Physical trauma caused to the piercing area whilst changing jewellery is very common, and can result in temporary inflammation, redness and soreness. If you do not feel confident changing your jewellery yourself, visit a trained piercer, who will do this for you.
