Hardcover book with red cloth covered boards. Elaborate romantically themed gilt design on top board and spine. Gilt titles on spine. All edges gilt. Blue endpapers. Numerous black and white illustrations by Thompson. 298 pages (297 numbered).
Condition: Very good+ condition. There is a prior bookseller pencil mark at the top of the half-title page. The spine has a lean. Otherwise I don't see any blemishes. It's clean inside and out. No markings. Sound binding and hinges.
