Overview: Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful impressionist oil painting. It depicts a misty mountainscape rising behind a cool forest with a waterfall in the background. The painting is signed "Takahashi" at lower right. I have seen other pieces by this artist online, but haven't been able to find a bio for him/her. It reminds me a lot of the work by Shimizu. It is smartly framed in a beautiful grey-toned wood frame. Condition: The deals painting is in excellent condition. Minor staining on the matting. Frame is in excellent condition. Measurements: Painting measures 14 inches wide x 11 inches high. Frame measures 19 inches wide x 16 inches high.
