So my Swedish Death Cleaning continues, I have been a collector of all things vintage for about 50 years now and am starting to part with some of my treasures. Take a peek at my other listings. My prices are usually a little less than other sellers if I can find an item to compare. I am not looking to get rich, just to pare down on some of my collections.....everything I sell is vintage or once in awhile, a craft supply. I have sold over 2700 items on etsy and have gotten good reviews. Since items are vintage you really should not expect perfection, I know that most buyers know that but I do point out defects if I see them. Please ask your questions before purchase and look at pictures carefully, older pieces can have paint loss as should be expected and I do try to show that. About 30 years ago I met a woman who was the most talented doll maker and repair person I had ever seen. She had a kiln so made porcelain dolls but this one is composition and she actually baked it in her home oven!! This composition baby doll looks like the Horsman or Ideal of the 1930s. She is hand painted also, look at the work on the body it is just perfect! She is approx 22" tall, her heads, arms and legs are composition, body is cloth, eyes look to be glass, real fake eyelashes, open mouth with teeth, blonde hair, her clothes are vintage crochet, dress and hat are both pink and are adjustable by tightening or loosening ribbons. Also included is also a sweet little vintage taffeta deals slip which is really too long for the dress but since I displayed her sitting I just tucked the excess under her dress. I also have a large composition Shirley Temple doll made by the same woman that I will be listing separately.
