This is a ready-to-frame, authentic (not a modern reproduction) vintage Rorschach inkblot plate from 1948. It was published as part of a limited run for Hermann Rorschach's famous psychological test.

This is card is entitled ‘card II' (or two humans/four-legged animal). From the literature:

"The red details of card II are often seen as blood, and are the most distinctive features. Responses to them can provide indications about how a subject is likely to manage feelings of anger or physical harm. This card can induce a variety of sexual responses."

At over 70 years old, this would make an excellent gift or piece of vintage decor, especially as part of a gallery wall!
