MEASURING: Please pr4vide us with the finishedowidth and length that you would like foroyour completed faux shade. - WIDTH: If you are hanging the shade inside of your windowoframe, I need the width of your windowoframe, minus 1/8 of an inchoper side (1/4 inch total). You do not want your valance to touch the sides of your frame or it may bunch up and not hang flat. If you are hanging it onothe outside of your windowoframe, I recommend having it line up with the outside edges of your molding, or if you do not have molding, approximately 2-3 inches past the edge of your windowoframe.- LENGTH: Most shades are between 14 & 20 inches long. If you are not sure about length, I recommend hanging a pillow case at different lengths in order to decide how much of your windowoyou would like /o cover. Again, I will needoto know the finishedolengthoyou would like onothe completed faux shade (with folds andoall).LINING: Lining is op/ional, as you don’t always needoit. If you are using medium or lightweight fabric, lining is highly recommended. Lining really helps to fill out the folds andoholdothe structure of the shade. It also protects it fa pofading. Regular oroblackout lining is $10oper shade. Unless requested, regular lining willobe used. Blackout lining is a trueoblackout andowillolet almost no light through. Excep/ for the machine-sewn top pocket, shades are entirely hand-made with needle and thread, white upholstery staples and heat-and-bond. Some of the work can be seen on the back of the shades,obut on the front only the top pocketostitch isovisible. This pr4vides the highest quality presentation andoconstru2/ion so that the shade hangs as flat as possible and there are no addi/ional seams, threads orobillowing seen on the face of the shade. We have worked hard on this design to make the front of your valance as clean as possible. **Please note, shades that are over 52” wide willohave a /iny seam downothe middle as upholstery fabric is only 54” wide.
