Deals Vintage University Prints Art History Reproductions Italian Art Upright Box Study Set Color

A huge collection of vintage reproductions of notable artworks, originally sold as a study set for Art History classes. ** NOTE: While this set is labeled as Italian Art, it includes examples of many other eras and artists.

This set of reproductions comes in a standing, upright box of green cardboard, with a label that states, "The University Prints, Student Series B, Early Italian Art, Powers, The University Prints, Boston, Mass." The box measures about 8.25 inches tall by about 6 inches deep and 3.5 inches wide. The prints measure 8 inches by 5.5 inches.

I did not count the number of prints but there are a lot. Most are printed in black and white, while some are in full color. All have the name of the work, where it was exhibited, the artist and the artist's birth and death dates. These would've been used for study purposes by art history students, like flash cards.

The box says these are works of early Italian art but there are a lot of others mixed in--you'll find lots of familiar faces and scenes in this mix!

These prints are in good condition. I did not look at every single one but they seem deals to be have treated well. The box is in decent condition but definitely shows signs of wear, especially on the bottom, with the seams starting to break.

Please keep in mind that this item is vintage and we love it, in part, because of its age, history and patina. I feel that beauty is enhanced by the fact that they have been used and loved and they don't look brand new.
