• The thread has been hand waxed with 100% Bees Wax to minimize fraying and maximize thread integrity. It also temporarily gives the thread a lovely hint of honey smell.

This is a limited run because I have only one side of this beautiful Horween leather available, and when it's gone, it's gone. If you're not familiar with the legend that is Horween here's a little background.

Horween Leather Company was founded in Chicago, Il in 1905 by master tanner Isidore Horween. For over 100 years their goal has been to make the best leather in the world. Horween believes that making the best means doing lots of little things right, it means never mistaking fastest or cheapest with best. Through the years they have cultivated their experience to offer a dynamic line of leathers that include traditional old world tannages and techniques along with carefully updated with modern techniques. Their leathers are still made today, by hand, the same way they were over a hundred years ago.

• Each item is meticulously handmade and crafted to order. Although most items take between 2-3 days to make, depending on the orders in queue please allow 2-3 weeks for production and shipping. BUYING HANDMADE

• Handmade items are just that, handmade, and as such pieces may vary slightly from pictures in the listing. Leather has its own unique grain, texture, and patina, so each piece will be unique and one-of-a-kind. Some leather will have scars, scratches, and bug bites.

• We will always try our best to make each piece as exact as possible to the image in the listing, but because of the nature of leather each piece will ultimately have it's own unique patina and look.
