This extremely rare and large quilt is incredible. I can't even imagine the hours and probably years of work that went into this. Each window is only 2 inches tall at its widest. This is a huge quilt and very heavy! 12 pounds… so much fabric! These types of quilts are RARE and every stitch was done by hand! I doubt this has ever been washed and I am deals going to leave this to the buyer. But I think it would come out amazingly with an oxyclean soak. There are some stains which I've tried to picture and the edges are soiled in various places. I'm only allowed 12 photos so I've tried to represent overall condition. I think this quilt just needs a really good bath. My photos did a poor job of capturing the beauty of this quilt. She's amazing and rare. These types of quilts normally sell for $600 plus, (for ones not close to this big and with windows that are much larger and less time intensive). If you can find one.
