Losing a loved one is difficult, and planning a funeral and/or memorial can be so draining. I am here to help make your memorial memorable, personable, and beautiful, so you and friends and family can enjoy a day reminiscing about your dear loved one. What do I do? I make customizable clear acrylic memorial signs for you to display, whether it's at a funeral or memorial, or a keepsake for a memory room in your home. The best part is you get to choose whether you want custom artwork of your dear loved one, or if you want to add in family members that were near and dear to their hearts as well. Did Grandma never get to meet her two year old granddaughter? That's okay, add their photos in and they can be painted together. Do you wish you had a photo of Mom pictured with you and your brother, but have lived too far for a family photo in a few years? Not a problem, I can paint you as a family! My signs are made to lean on an easel, but can easily be transformed into something that could be hung on your wall and cherished for much more than one event.

Description of product:

This is a clear plexiglass sign [approx 18x24in] with custom digitally painted artwork of relative (and more if chosen). Sign on top reads “In loving memory of [insert name here]”. Bottom of sign reads “Until we meet again.” on one sample pictured, and “Forever in our hearts.” on the other. This is customizable. You may change the bottom of the signs quote to make more personal by adding a message in quotations of whatever you'd like the bottom of the sign to read in the “notes” section when you check out, as long as it is within reason, and about the same length as the samples. In the middle will be the digitally painted portrait of your loved one, with digitally painted flowers lining the bottom. Choose your flowers for me to attach to the painting. You can also choose between the two fonts pictured in this listing, a bold and serious font except for the name entered, or the entire sign in a swirly cursive font. This lettering comes in black, however it can be changed to white lettering if also requested in notes. Lastly, you have the choice of leaving the sign clear and see through, or adding a gold shimmer paint to the back for a pop of color. This can also be added to the notes if requested. This project is something very important to me, and near and dear to my heart. During the pandemic, I lost my great grandfather to Covid, which was a truly tragic moment for our family. He was the heart and soul who held us together. He was a dedicated husband, loving and caring father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Great Great Grandfather before being taken from us. The yellow heart pictured is a symbol of remembrance for those lost due to Covid-19.

Process:

First, choose which style you would like as your first option, bold and serious font, or cursive font. Then, choose how many people I will be digitally painting as your next option through the drop down bars Etsy has provided. Next, since there are so many personalizations, this is the order in which I'll need you to list the rest in your NOTES attached to your order:

1. An email or phone number to message you updates about your order
2. Name to be displayed on Memorial Sign
3. Black font or white font
4. Yellow Heart included at bottom of sign or NO yellow heart
5. Clear Sign or Gold Painted deals on back of sign
6. Name of which digital floral design listed to line your digital painting
7. Quote for bottom of the sign (4-8 words)

With so many personalizations, I have an estimated 1-3 week turn around time. If you need your order sooner, please send me a message so we can figure out a solution! In order to add your custom artwork of your family member, you will need to send me a minimum of 3 high quality photos with good lighting of said person. The more photos the better! Remember to send high quality photos which are typically taken on a smart phone. I suggest good lighting and no harsh shadows. It's also best to find a photo from the waist up with a good view of the face(s). After your order is confirmed, you can send through photos though email at levy.ericaj [!at] gmail.com with the name and order number, or by messaging me through the Etsy app and using the attachment button to send your photos through here.

Once you put in your order, the faster you email me the photos of your loved one(s) attached with the name and order number, the faster I can get to working on painting! You have 72 hours after you paid for your order to send me the photos so I can get started. Along with painting your loved one, I add in the digital floral arrangement along the bottom of the painting. I work in multiple programs to design and finalize your Memorial artwork, and I want my customers to be apart of the very personal process. I will paint one version of your loved one(s) and send you a copy of it via email or text message, which you can disclose to me in a note while purchasing by leaving your email and/or phone number. You have 24 hours after I send you the artwork to make a revision in which you can request that I change something that seems fitting to your vision. After we finalize the painting, I will get to work designing the full sign in my next design program, and will send you a photo for you to finalize, or again, make any change you see fitting within 24 hours after I send that copy. Once I get your final approval of the last digital copy of the sign, I begin working on the physical plexiglass sign. You can see the difference between the program version of the sign compared to the final version in the photos pictures on this listing. As soon as I am finished with the physical plexiglass sign, I take a photo of it and send it to you to show you the completed product, and package it to ship out to the address you provided me.

Care:

To clean dust off your plexiglass sign, gently use a microfiber cloth across the sign. To clean off fingerprints or smudges, you can use a glass cleaner sprayed on a microfiber towel or paper towel and gently wipe. Clorox wipes also work to take off any fingerprints left on the glass. This is only to be used on the front if the back of the sign has been painted. Remember to wipe gently and never spray chemicals directly onto sign, as this can cause peeling or fading. The artwork is laminated but should be treated with care. Sign is best left in room temperature. High heat or humidity for long periods of exposure can cause sign to bend or warp over time.

Disclosure:

For full disclosure, the digital painting I send will be in high quality, however when I put it in the next design aspect, the program can make the images I send you look pixilated or slightly distorted. Fret not, the actual sign will be full high quality as pictured in this listing, and digital painting will look the same as the finalized copy we agree on. The painting of you loved one(s) is digitally hand painted by myself, however the bouquets and flowers were designed by other artists to save me some turn around time. Typically the artwork is a large print, so I make multiple prints and cuts and piece it together. It is typically seamless, however you may see lines if you look for them. The floral arrangements at the bottom of the digital painting may look slightly different than pictured, as I move elements around to make it full and fit in with the painting. You will see this in the first copy I sent to you with the artwork and can choose to change it around if needed. Lastly, my artwork is not to be taken and used elsewhere unless specifically asked and granted that permission.

1. Color of font is incorrect: You wanted black, I sent you white
2. Font is incorrect: You wanted full cursive font, I send you serious/cursive mix.
3. Text is wrong: You specified a message, I sent incorrect wording
4. Design is wrong: You asked for yellow sunflowers, you got blue peonies. (Which was not approved when I sent you final draft)
