Flawless vintage Waechtersbach Round 12" Anniversary Christmas Tree platter. Not found on Replacements.com. Extremely hard to find piece. Perfect condition; no nicks, chips or crazing. My photos show the silhouette of our chandelier - the shiny red ceramic is absolutely perfect!
** What you need to know about Waechtersbach: Waechtersbach Christmas Tree pattern pottery was originally made in Germany and has been discontinued since way before 2012. Over the years while it was still being produced, there were different "lots" run. For example, my mother had a set from the 70's which is marked "Waechtersbach West Germany" on the bottom. Some sets did NOT have the "West Germany" markings, but had a Waechtersbach sticker on the bottom. Other sets have no markings at all on the bottom of them. You will also find sets (not Christmas tree sets) that are marked "Waechtersbach Spain" on the bottom of them that are extremely popular. These sets vary greatly in make and - in some cases - in manufacturing differences. deals I try to represent all pieces very fairly and accurately through pictures and descriptions.
