Antique Cast Iron Fishtail Scale - Gorgeous double deals brass bar 6 lb balance form - Great functional decor for home or office

This lovely and unusual antique fishtail scale (see pic of base for the name) is a great piece of working Victorian era shop store functional display. Great working condition with a 9.5" platform that makes a great display shelf etc.


Measures: 6 lb by ounce gradation along both sides of both beams 3 lb on front beam 3lb on back - M.N. Rowley Detroit impressed on one side of one bar (owner or maker?). No other maker marks or ID. Includes 3/4 lb hanging weight that appears to be purely decorative or for testing the scale.
