Vintage Soffieria De Carlini hand blown glass angel. Rare, collectible and now hard to find in good condition, all De Carlini blown glass ornaments were created and made completely and exclusively in Italy. Hand painted and decorated, the angel body is opalescent with a soft blue band and features metallic gold stars and decorative dress gathers. White lace forms her poufy sleeves and decorative waist gathers. Her wings are gold foil cardboard and she is holding a gold plastic mandolin. Angel stands approximately 6 1/4" high. These hand blown angels are very delicate and this one is in very good condition with no obvious chips, scratches or cracks. There is no paint loss, either. One wing tip has a slight crease (see photo). Naturally these items will never be perfect, due to age and very rarely, in this condition. This angel has been in my family exclusively and has been carefully handled and stored. Decorative greenery and ornament stand are for display only and are not included.
