This rare vintage SylvaC 4 piece condiment set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The set comprises a salt, mustard and pepper sitting inside a long trough. Each of the condiments is designed to look like a wooden box with a Terrier poking out the top, with the lot sitting in a wooden box with rope handles either end. The set has been so designed that the salt and pepper will only sit at specific ends. This is from the Sylvac Dog Head Range now long retired. Matt green basket and matt beige dog heads. Highly sought after and very collectible. While I cannot date the item accurately, the impressed marks on the base indicate a production date between the 1940's-1950's.
