It has been designed for all types of the fireplaces and can be attached by magnets to the metal frame or to the lintel ( a piece of steel that holds up the top row of bricks in the fireplace) or by adhesive VELCRO to the surface of the fireplace!
The Magnets (or self-adhesive Hook & Loop VELCRO® brand fasteners/strips) make the cover easy to remove, when you want to use your fireplace and easy to install, when you want to avoid draft, smell or hide ashes.

The fireplace cover is made of 2 layers of Felt fabric (a non-woven textile well-known for its thermal and acoustic insulation properties) and 6 Super strong flat Magnets inserted between two layers of felt ( 4 along the top and 2 on the sides)
or 8 adhesive VELCRO strips
( 4 along the top and 4 on the sides), and decorated with Abstract , "X-mas Tree" or "Flaming logs" Felt applique.

Magnetic cover is Fully reversible with solid color felt on the back of the cover.

Remember:
*Magnets do not attract all metals. Iron (Fe), Nickel (Ni), Cobalt (Co) and some alloys are the only metals that respond to magnetism. Please check before you order.
*Adhesive Hook & Loop VELCRO® brand fasteners/strips are recommended for smooth surfaces. Please include few inches for overlap (for cover with Adhesive strips )

Tip: You can always insert on your own additional magnets between the layers of felt through the opening located at the bottom of the cover, if needed.
