Note:
Harikae Shoji studied under Seiji Toriumi at the Pacific Art Institute. In 1947, he was selected for Kokuten (National Exhibition). In 1949, he received instruction from Takeshi HAYASHI, Kazusaku KOBAYASHI and Kunitaro SUDA. Exhibited at Shinko Bijutsu Exhibition and Yomiuri Independent Exhibition in 1947. New Village Art Exhibition. He became a member deals of Kokugakai in 1953. Harikae died in 2003 at the age of 88.
