The receiver features a high quality audio amplifier rated at 100 watts RMS per channel at 8 ohms. It is capable of low impedance drive of speaker pairs rated down to 4 ohms and produces 140 watts RMS at that impedance. The receiver also has multi zone function that allows for two different sources to play in two different zones. You will need an auxiliary power amp to do multi zone. By itself it will power two sets of speakers at 4, 6 or 8 ohms. The receiver also has a digital AM/FM tuner with deals presets, video switching for composite video sources, phono, CD, DTV, VCR and aux inputs and IR control in/out.
