Vintage Cross Stitch Sampler "Let Us Give Thanks" Ephesians 1:3-14 deals Biblical Quote Spiritual Wall Art Adelaide Bowen Owens Needlework AS IS
Whether you're an airbnb host or you just love the old timey cottage appeal of an old sampler, this handmade signed cross stitch piece is a lovely folk art piece with a biblical quote from Ephesians 1:3-14 Let Us Give Thanks. I especially love that the provenance is documented on the back:
MADE AND FRAMED BY ADELAIDE BOWEN OWENS 1963 COUNTED THREAD CROSSTITCH (sic) FRAME MAE BY BILL OWENS.
It's well done, and I purchased it in Atlanta GA. Click here to see another sampler from the same collection, which is signed and dated 1964:

In fair preowned vintage condition, this charming handmade piece is not perfect deals due to the little spots of discoloration from age, likely from the acid of the framing materials. I think it still looks pretty wonderful. I love that even the frame is handmade!
I don't know if these spots will come out and am selling this AS IS. Do not buy this if you are wanting a perfect piece. This is fairly large and heavy and I would really LOVE to sell it locally in Atlanta with a FREE pickup!
I think it is acceptable the way it is; if you don't think it is acceptable as it is, I would pass on it.
Please take the time to view all the photos carefully and zoom in to see details. Pictures are an important part of the description, and it's assumed you have viewed them all before purchasing.
Kindly remember that unlike brand new items, my items have been previously owned and will sometimes show signs of use consistent with age of antique and vintage items. Unless otherwise mentioned, the things in my shop are sold as found.
I'm always available if you have questions about anything in my shop, so please don't hesitate to reach out with inquiries or concerns.
Shipping is generally nonrefundable and has been calculated to include insurance.
Free local pickup is an option for Atlanta GA folks. It's especially encouraged for heavy and/or large items.
