The most versatile deals set of 5 organic wheel-thrown pots. Originally I designed this as a planter set for succulents and cacti. However, I decided to glaze the interior of this set so it can also be used as water glasses and all purpose tumblers. Or for a buffet or taco night set of condiment and sauce choices. Or planters for cacti, African violets, herbs, marigolds, or other annual flowers. It makes a charming, rustic gift ready for a windowsill, coffee table, foyer table, sunny bathroom, or dining room table centerpiece. They sit on one long slab of primitive ghost wood, sized just right for a window sill.
The Eco Green shino glaze on the near-black, iron-rich clay emits a soft light green base with lots of the brown clay specs coming through. Reminiscent of spring forest leaves. Newly grown moss. After-rain tree bark lichen. Perfect for the environmentally-inspired, sustainability-conscious, tree-hugger in all of us. This item is from the Wildwoods Collection. The glazing technique, which resembles the pattern of natural branches and twigs, is achieved by pouring and streaking the glaze while twirling the piece. The unglazed negative spaces show the rich dark clay. I can coax the pattern, but never fully control it. Each piece is unique and illustrates my collaboration with Mother Nature.
Wood plank: 21” long x 3.5” wide.
Tallest pot is about 3.5”.
Wheel-thrown stoneware. High-fired. Hand-altered. And each is hand-signed.

— Items that carry branches, antlers, leather, and string should not be submerged in water or used in dishwashers, ovens or microwaves. Wood and antler pieces attached with screws and/or the black composite epoxy are very firm. Those attached with just leather or string lashings have more give.
