Vintage early 50s 1950s New Look era deals grey hourglass suit jacket and quilted pink and grey full circle skirt - UK size 8

Vintage early 1950s grey fitted quality wool suit jacket - hourglass shape. With a calf length full circle quilted skirt. Jacket is in excellent condition. The inside lining has some repairs at the armpit (see photo). The skirt is in good condition - no stains or holes - some of the top stitch quilting threads are missing, but the skirt is so full and the threads are pale in colour so it does not detract. A set that is generally in wonderful condition for it's 70+ years. No labels, so originally homemade.

UK size 8 (to fit 34" bust and 26" waist)
Jacket: 27" waist at narrowest point. deals 36" bust. 22.5" sleeve (from shoulder tip to cuff). 23" length (from side neck down to bottom hem.
Skirt: 27" waist (buttons can be moved to 26"), 30" length.
