Vintage Marygold Print of a Geisha Girl 16” deals x 7” In excellent vintage condition in a frame that shows it's age, but adds to the deco character. MARYGOLD aka MARION CROWE (British, 1896-1979) Marygold was a nom de plume for an English artist, Marion Crowe, who was born in 1896. She was an extremely popular "art deco" artist, specialising in every aspect of romanticism. Her work was incredibly popular in the 1930's and was used for a wide variety of product including decorative tins, jigsaw puzzles, greeting cards, calendars and decorative boxes for handkerchiefs, chocolates, etc. Please take a look at my other listings.
