This deals botanical piece representing the European Plane tree is an ode to my new home town of Melbourne. These gorgeous deciduous trees line many of the streets and watching them change throughout the year has been so very special.

Interestingly, the London Plane tree cannot be found in the wild, which begs the question of where its origins begin. The current consensus is that it's actually a hybrid of the American Sycamore and the Oriental Plane Tree.

This botanical A4 original art piece is done on 250gsm watercolour paper. It's packaged using recycled materials where possible and wrapped in a cellophane bag to stop damage and water intrusion.
