The blanket is all about what one would find in a city. There are 4 different textures of minky. The center panel that depicts a city is smooth. The borders to this are red dimpled minky. The next border is a navy blue minky with raised zigzagging stripes. The backing is a navy blue, deeply textured solid with very small diagonal lines running through it. The binding is made with red dimple minky.

All of my quilts are made using the only highest quality minky. Not all minky is created equally! The type I use is very plush, with excellent color, shine and softness that babies love! Also, all of my quilts have a 100% minky backing, which means your baby will be surrounded by soft minky no matter how they hold or use the blanket.

My blankets are higher quality than the majority of handmade baby blankets on the market. Most blankets are made with just one piece of fabric for the front and one for the back, with the back cut a little larger and folded over to the front for the binding. This is called a “self-binding” technique. This method can lead to the edges of a blanket wearing out first. My quilts are all made with 3-5 pieces of fabric on the front and then a separate piece of fabric for the binding, which results in a stronger, more durable quilt. Perfect for the toughest baby or toddler grip out there!
Each quilt is pre-washed prior to shipping so you can rest assured it is clean and ready for use, without any surprises once you wash deals it.
Care instructions: Machine Wash Cold/Tumble Dry Low. Do not bleach or iron.
