On a weedy branchline the maintenance of way section gang works to change a broken angle bar. The rust has made this bar hard to get apart and brute strength is needed to get the bolts loose. Once the bar is changed the track will again be safe for the waiting trains.

This was handmade by shaping and modifying the figures into the appropriate shape. They were then hand panted, weathered and placed in this hand built scene. The scene is built from a sturdy plywood base with HO scale Micro Engineering track and ballasted with Woodland Scenics ballast. The ties and rails were hand painted and weathered to show the wear and tear. Finally small details were added to complete the scene. This was then attached to the clear plastic 2"x2"x2" display case and plastic base for display.
