Makes a great decorating piece of art. 1930-40s PORCELIER Vitreous China raised hearth teapot. PORCELIER often features vitreous china and "raised" decor. This piece has both. The comfy scene, Colonial Hearth, on the side of the teapot is of an old-time mantle and burning fireplace with a spinning wheel in the foreground. A wood chair, an iron pot, candle holders on the mantle also in the scene. It is an ivory/white teapot with its hearth scene being mostly yellow/gold, brown, and soft blue. PORCELIER is hard to find especially in this condition. It is very old. The PORCELIER company closed in 1954. This pot, made in the USA, is from the 30s-40s.
