Antique Civic Sandland Staffordshire England deals collectible tobacco humidor

A great little find! This is a well made and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks piece! There is crazing as expected with the age.
a little history for you-
From 1944 the business was renamed Lancaster & Sandland when, presumably, Sandland became a partner in the company.
The company went into voluntary liquidation in November 1968.

this piece only bears the name Sandland so it is quite unusual. The date of production is assumed to be between 1944 when Sandland parentered-1968 when the factory was dissolved.

The piece measures 4 1/2"tall, base diameter 4", top opening diameter 4 3/4", inside diameter 3 3/4" - both sides have the same painting but one is painted as more of a "close up".
