Hand Painted by Gay Fad Studio, Fruit Motif mixing bowls each have 3 matching sets of fruits in bright, clear designs on milk glass bowls by Fire King Oven Ware. The large bowl is #2, 2 ½ quarts, 8 ¼” by 4”, the middle bowl is #18, One quart 7 ½” by 3 ½”, and the small bowl is #3, Half Quart, 6” by 2”. The Gay Fad studio was in Lancaster, Ohio, 1945-62, founded by Fran Taylor. She and her staff hand painted their designs onto "blank" glassware from various US glassworks, and there are only a few, small worn spots to the designs on this set. Overall great condition, with no cracks or breaks, only minor scratches inside, and on the large bowl are small, smooth ripples in one place on the rim, but don't affect use or beauty of the bowl.
