This book appears to have not been read, or, not read completely; some pages were not cut when printed. (The fore-edge is a fold rather than a cut edge.). Pages show tanning associated with age. Previous owner's name is written in front pasted endpaper; no other writing was found in book. Pages are clear of dog-ears, tears, etc. Outside fore-edges are rough from publisher; top and bottom fore-edges are smooth. Top fore-edge is darker than side and bottom. Binding is in excellent condition. Cloth cover shows mild wear; edges and corners are crisp. Tops of spine are gently bent in with mild fraying. Spine shows light stains/foxing. Silver printing of title on spine is deals bottom-to-top, rather than top-to-bottom as is more common in the U.S.
