This pair of rare candle holders are stamped The Middletown Silver Co 971 on the bottom centers. The 971 I believe refers to the pattern name. They have a decorative scroll border around the bottom edge. They hold larger, votive or deals small pillar style candles. Sizing: Stand 3-3/4" tall, 5-7/8" diameter base, the opening for the candle is about 1-5/8" in diameter. Condition: As shown in the photographs. Has been polished. They do have some random nicks and scratches, One has a tiny gauge along the base rim that is hard to see.
