Here is a charming vintage Sarreguemines coffee pot.
It is made from white faience and has been hand decorated with a gorgeous floral pattern in pink, purple and blue shades.
It is finished off with a golden lining.
This coffee pot is in a good vintage condition with slight signs of wear, as a few missing pieces in the gilding.
It would be gorgeous on a vintage / shabby chic table or as Easter table decor. Also perfect for collectors of French ceramics.
The mark "Sarreguemines et Digoin" at the back has been used between 1920 and 1950.
The Sarreguemines ceramics comes from a long tradition dating back to 1790 and a certain expertise. It is part of the heritage. The Sarreguemines earthenware factory, which closed its doors in 2007, acquired its notoriety with colorful, detailed and perfectly executed pieces. In 2 centuries, the family business has conquered the whole world with its very varied collections.
Rural or floral decorations are representative of the creations of Sarreguemines. Sarreguemines is also famous for its tea services and presentation dishes.
