1927 FINE deals JOHNNY GRUELLE Wooden Willie - of Raggedy Ann Fame - M A Donahue Publisher - Shelf wear on cover Like new inside
For Raggedy Ann fans! I offer a 1927 M.A. Donahue edition of WOODEN WILLIE, written and beautifully illustrated by Johnny Gruelle. Before Raggedy Ann became Marcella's ragdoll, among her favorites were Uncle Clem and Beloved Belindy. This is the story of how they rescued Wooden Willie, an unwanted wooden doll with a nick in his head. Then, with the help of Eddie Elf and his magic beans, they all brought joy to some orphans and kind strangers they met along the way.
The 9" x 6" book has 95 pages. The 94 deals year old book is aged, with shelf wear on the cover predominately at the corners, but LOOKS NEW INSIDE! The binding is tight; its pages are clean, colorful, and unmarked with neither rips nor folds. In total I believe it is in FINE CONDITION.
Thanks for considering it.
